Welcome to the website for Engineers Without Borders – San Francisco Professionals (EWB-SFP) Chapter. Established in 2004, the chapter engages local professional engineers and interested persons in EWB-USA projects and programs. Our broad mission is to help developing communities worldwide with a hands-on approach involving engineering professionals and students.

A big thank-you to all who attended our SFARI fundraiser! The proceeds from this event will help us continue such efforts as providing safe, renewable energy to rural villages in Guatemala, developing and deploying a locally sustainable system for clean drinking water in India, and reducing mortality rates within Brazilian communities due to smoke inhalation from cooking stoves.
