Engineering Teaching Position open at Castro Valley High School in Castro Valley
The school has wood, machine, welding & auto shop capabilities (albiet old, but working on upgrades). There would be opportunities to work with those instructors as well as the math/science departments.
They have established several academies and are now trying to get an Engineering & Construction Academy started in September. They are very much in need of a teacher to work at least 3 hours/day or full time if the person wishes. A teaching credential is preferable, but they can put the person on tract to obtain one over a few years. Apparently they can very flexible. The person could start sooner than September to work on establishing the program.
The contact at Castro Valley High School is Rich Schneck, 510-770-5012 or Bill Nott, EWB-USA Education Chair, 510-709-5759.
